CCI Industrial Services, LLC is seeking a Scaffold Technician in Alaska to erect and dismantle Tier I & II scaffolds with careful attention to safety and written/oral instructions. The role requires handling scaffold components, rigging basics, and operating related equipment while complying with all safety standards.

You will work in harsh weather and remote settings, maintain 100% safety compliance, and coordinate with clients and supervisors.

The Scaffold technician position is responsible for erecting and dismantling Tier I & II (simple) scaffolds. Scaffolder must apply sound judgement and understanding when carrying out detailed or uninvolved written and/or oral instructions.

• Construct / Dismantle Scaffold as directed by client
• Performs many types of work, including scaffolding, insulation,
• Routinely performs safety and scaffolding component integrity inspections.
• Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of standard rigging procedures and OSHA requirement.
• Knowledge of scaffolding techniques and procedures required, skill in erecting multi scaffold systems, with tube & clamp and Safeway scaffold systems.
• Knowledge of various fasteners, hardware, materials, and other commonly used scaffolding components.
• Ability to work comfortably at heights and adhere to fall protection policies and procedures.
• Operate vehicles (pickups and other equipment associated with Scaffold erection.
• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Build integrity, honesty and trust with stakeholders, clients, and employees.
• Establish and maintain rapport and strong working relationships with co-workers and client representatives.
• Comply with all guidelines, policies and procedures established by CCI Industrial Services and clients while on shift, on call, or attending training.
• Be a Safety Leader! Ensure the resources and commitment to HSE is of top priority for all employees within the company.
• Maintain 100% “Safety Standards and Accountability” in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include:
  • Maintain compliance with required HSE Training.
  • Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.
  • Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
  • Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives.
  • Participating in safety meetings, working safely, and maintaining a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services.
  • Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working.
  • Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client.
  • Promote and participate in Safety Programs.
• Demonstrate support for company and client environmental management system.
• Coach and train CCI crew members.
• Be a team player, striving for an interdependent, successful, and effective approach to meeting our vision, mission and business objectives:
• Communicate daily status of current projects to Facility Operations and the O&M Superintendent as necessary to ensure all projects are timely and within company and client standards.
• Attend and participate in required meetings, trainings, exercises, and drills.
• Emergency Response Trained in pipeline emergency and incident response.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to severe outside weather conditions. This includes extreme cold in the winter. The employee may occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving parts, etc. depending on the position and work environment. The noise level is usually moderate to loud.
• 7-day work week, 84 hours a week or more on a 3-week rotational schedule. Lodging and food are provided. PPE and Flame-Resistant Clothing are provided.
