Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder to supervise tubular scaffold construction, maintenance, and dismantling on job sites across the United States. The role involves working at heights, determining scaffold types, and ensuring safe, compliant installations.

Required: 4 years journeyman-level experience; NCCER Certification preferred; valid Driver’s License and TWIC Card. OSHA and site-specific rules apply; positions may require lifting up to 50 pounds and working in industrial

Qualifications

4 years of journeyman-level experience.
NCCER Certification preferred (not required).
Valid Driver’s License and TWIC Card required.

Responsibilities

Supervise scaffold construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding or temporary structures.
Work at heights at risk-free levels and follow safety procedures.
Determine scaffold type and provide proper installation instructions.
Oversee transport and erection of scaffold materials as directed.
Hoist materials to build temporary structures and secure locking sections.
Ensure scaffold is anchored to the permanent structure for stability.
Inspect scaffolding and store materials after dismantling.
Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
Adhere to OSHA, site-specific, and Austin Industrial requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
