Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Leadman to provide leadership, instruction, and guidance to craft workers, while acting in the capacity of a journeyman on a work crew. This role supports the Foreman and emphasizes safety and adherence to standards.

The Build/erect responsibilities include forming, scaffolding, and supporting concrete piers, footings, and walls, with hands-on supervision and a focus on quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related field experience.
• Follows instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform duties.
• Works under supervision and reports to a foreman or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Examine, select and gather materials and tools for the job.
• Review blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions.
• Inspect base surface for obstructions prior to work.
• Load, transport and unload materials to job sites.
• Measure boards, timbers, or plywood and mark cuts.
• Set up and assemble scaffolding with handrails and planks.
• Secure scaffolding to structures and erect ladders and walkways.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
