Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a Leadman to guide carpenters in constructing and dismantling wooden structures per sketches and standards. The role involves inspecting materials, measuring, and cutting with hand tools, while ensuring safe operations and adherence to project rules.

The Leadman will supervise crew activities, assist the Foreman, and may perform maintenance on tolls and equipment, maintaining high safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to lead a crew and follow safety rules.
• Ability to read sketches, blueprints and company standards.
• Experience with common carpentry tools and scaffolding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead craft workers and guide crew to assemble, erect and dismantle structures.
• Inspect materials, measure and mark cut lines using measuring tools.
• Erect and secure scaffolding; install ladders, handrails and platforms.
• Operate hand tools and power tools to cut, shape and assemble parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety and project rules; perform maintenance as needed.
