Job summary

Brown and Root Industrial Services is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper in Texas to assist with construction, dismantling, and repair of wooden and metal scaffolds and related structures.

The role requires 12–16 months of scaffold helper experience, knowledge of materials and tools, reliable transportation, and willingness to work overtime and follow safety rules. You will identify tools, assess safety risks, measure and cut materials, and assist with building and dismantling scaffolds.

Requirements Required Qualifications

• Must have 12-16 months of scaffold builder helper experience.
• Must have knowledge on materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime.
• Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Must follow all company and site rules and regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting/lifting above head.
• Will talk and hear to communicate.
• Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls and tools.
• May be required to lift, carry and move up to 30lbs.
• Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, work off of platforms and man lifts, and may occasionally work out on an open structure using the appropriate fall protection requirements.
