Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Scaffold E&D Carpenter to join our field team in Chesapeake, VA. You will assist in stacking and counting scaffolding materials, prepare materials for shipment, and support the Lead Carpenter and Foreman while mentoring junior helpers.

Qualifications

• Some trade school preferred but not required.
• Scaffold E/D Helper 2 for a minimum of 1 year or approved equivalent experience.
• Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the stacking and counting of scaffolding materials on the job site or for shipment.
• Prepare material to be shipped and assist Foreman/Lead Carpenter.
• Mentor and coach E/D Helpers 1 and 2 to aid in their development.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding under supervision.
