Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder for our Decatur, IL operations. The role involves constructing, assembling, maintaining, and dismantling tubular scaffolding and temporary structures with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in scaffolding.

You will inspect materials, ensure safety, and work at heights while adhering to OSHA and site requirements. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, plus a 401(k) plan and an ESOP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of scaffolding craft experience.
• Must be able to work at heights and communicate safety hazards.
• Ability to inspect and assemble scaffolding per site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding.
• Determine scaffold type and inspect materials for hazards.
• Transport materials and erect scaffolds to required dimensions.
• Secure scaffolding to structures and ensure stability.
• Perform final inspections and remove scaffolding when needed.
