Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years or more experience in erecting/dismantling scaffolds.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Must be able to work at elevated heights.
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions.
• Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting.
• Must be able to communicate well with others.
• Must be able to apply common sense to carry out instructions written, verbal, or diagrammed.

Responsibilities

• Erect scaffolding for buildings and structures.
• Dismantle scaffolding after project completion.
• Prepare work sites by cleaning and removing debris.
• Load/unload and inventory scaffolding materials.
• Ensure a stable base for scaffold installation.
• Erect scaffold poles and fix scaffolding to structures.
• Lay planks for workers to walk on.
• Attach guard rails and safety nets.
• Create platforms, including suspended/cantilever scaffolds.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.

This position is for our annual outage coming up in December.

Candidates are responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolds for buildings and structures.

• Must provide your own tools
• Must clean and prepare work sites, including removing debris and materials in the immediate area.
• Loading/Unloading and inventory of scaffolding
• Ensure a stable base for scaffold
• Erect scaffold poles
• Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures
• Laying planks for workers to walk on
• Fixing guard rails and safety netting
• Dismantling scaffolding when a project is complete
• Creating different kinds of platforms, from simple scaffolding to complex structures such as suspended scaffolding, cantilever drops and temporary roofs

• 1-2 years or more experience in the erection and dismantling of various types of scaffolds
• Bilingual is a plus
• Certifications are a plus
