A construction services company in Louisiana is seeking experienced scaffolders. Responsibilities include erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ensuring safety, and working in various weather conditions. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in scaffolding, is authorized to work in the US, and must pass a background check. This position offers $24 per hour with a 4/10 schedule for 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the erection and dismantling of various types of scaffolds.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Must have all tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have a valid TWIC.

Responsabilités

• Unload scaffolding equipment on-site.
• Ensure a stable base for scaffolding.
• Erect scaffolding poles.
• Fix scaffolding to buildings or structures.
• Lay planks for workers to walk on.
• Fix guard rails and safety netting.
• Dismantle scaffolding when a project is complete.

• Work on-site in all weather.

Position Details:

• Pay: $24/hour
• Schedule: 4/10s (40 hours per week)

• Location: Koura site

Scaffolders are vital to the construction industry, as many construction crews require access via scaffolds, rigs, guard rails, and planks to carry out construction or restoration work.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a scaffolder include the following:

• Unloading scaffolding equipment on-site
• Ensuring a stable base for scaffolding
• Erecting scaffolding poles
• Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures
• Laying planks for workers to walk on
• Fixing guard rails and safety netting
• Dismantling scaffolding when a project is complete
• Creating different kinds of platforms, from simple scaffolding to complex structures such as suspended scaffolding, cantilever drops and temporary roofs
• Working on-site in all weather
