Job summary
City of Stoughton invites applications for a Utility Automation/SCADA Specialist to support electric, water, and wastewater operations. The role oversees configuration, maintenance, and optimization of SCADA, OMS, and related control networks to ensure reliable utility services.
You will program and deploy SCADA components, troubleshoot alarms, coordinate upgrades, and collaborate with field staff across divisions, contributing to cybersecurity and system documentation within a no-travel local
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field with exposure to SCADA.
- Experience in utility automation or industrial automation is preferred.
- Knowledge of automation protocols, PLC/RTU configuration, and networking.
Responsibilities
- Program and deploy SCADA components and OMS workflows.
- Maintain alarms, events, and cybersecurity protections for utility systems.
- Coordinate hardware/software upgrades across electric, water, and wastewater divisions.
- Develop documentation and provide system training.
