Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a SCADA Specialist to support daily field SCADA HMI/PLC operations and data collection for our Permian assets. You will work with measurement, field OPS, and IT to ensure reliable data and solutions.

Expect hands-on design, integration, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering and operations teams. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HMI/PLC/DCS design, familiarity with Allen Bradley platforms, and strong knowledge of industrial communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing SCADA systems and HMI/PLC/DCS architectures.
• Proven ability to collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Reliable attendance and multitasking across projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for Field SCADA HMI/PLC systems and related hardware.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to meet standards.
• Support O&M teams with functional, maintainable systems and ongoing ops support.
• Develop design standards, templates, and tools for Field SCADA HMI/PLC.
• Determine operational needs with internal/external customers for Field SCADA.
• Lead field SCADA projects with oversight, tasks, and lessons learned.
• Install and troubleshoot HMI/DCS/PLC, SCADA: RTUs, and various PLCs and protocols.
• Install and troubleshoot RF systems (200MHz–11GHz) including antennas.
