Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; at least 1 year procuring materials/services.
• US Citizenship; basic familiarity with mathematical functions.
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Able to pass pre-employment background and drug tests.
• Proficient with Excel and Word at an intermediate level.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License and driving record.
• Associate or Bachelor's in accounting, business, finance, contracts/purchasing, economics, or related field; or 3 years purchasing experience.
• Experience with federal Government contracts.
• Familiar with MAXIMO or similar automated federal purchasing systems.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFARS; work in an office environment.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs; sit for long periods.
• Strong written and verbal communication; time management; teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain breakers, substations, switchgear, and related electrical equipment.
• Use SCADA to operate and monitor electrical systems safely and efficiently.
• Monitor distribution components, generators, UPS, and PLCs; adjust as needed.
• Coordinate outages and plant changes with government personnel and maintenance staff.
• Prepare daily status reports reflecting system conditions.
• Troubleshoot and assist in system repairs; perform routine maintenance.
• Follow PPE protocols and respond to alarms and emergencies to maintain service.
• Direct and coordinate activities of other trades workers related to systems.
• Document system configurations and reconfigurations; maintain logs.
