Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a SCADA Engineer to maintain the mission-critical technology stack powering our connected factories, from SCADA servers to virtualized workloads, with a modern cloud-managed approach. You will work with top engineers to implement cutting-edge systems in complex, high-stakes manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities include owning change management, maintaining OT infrastructure, and developing Ignition SCADA applications to ensure performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of controls, automation and IT/OT infrastructure with on-premise focus.
• Proficient in Ignition SCADA development including gateway modules and historian configuration.
• Fluent in OT networking (MQTT, OPC UA, TCP/IP) and packet-level analysis.
• Knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443, PERA, NIST standards.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python or Bash scripting.
• US Person eligible for access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Own change management across SCADA systems and push changes to shop floor.
• Maintain on-premise factory infrastructure and control systems.
• Operate OT server infrastructure including Ignition gateways, historians, MQTT brokers with backup and change control.
• Maintain OT networking stack and diagnose protocol, timing, VLAN issues.
• Develop Ignition Perspective SCADA views, tag architecture and alarm pipelines.
• Troubleshoot PLC code on Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms for high-volume manufacturing.
• Escalate and resolve complex infrastructure outages to maintain uptime.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams and document designs.
