Role Overview

Our client is looking for a professional with hands‑on experience managing Azure environments that host an Aveva SCADA solution. This position requires a blend of IT and OT experience, along with the ability to support and manage a cloud environment running a SCADA platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Azure AD (Entra) services
• Work with Aveva SCADA within a cloud environment
• Monitor Azure assets, including switches, firewalls, and servers
• Set up appropriate logging across Azure environments
• Create dashboards to visualize performance and system activity
• Determine optimal server sizing through performance monitoring
• Spin up new Azure VMs as needed across different networks
• Review network design and support network‑related decisions
• Test infrastructure resiliency and overall system reliability
• Manage backup and recovery processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve network communication issues
• Support application integration efforts in collaboration with the Aveva integrator
