The role covers SCADA screen design, tagging, alarms, trends, and reporting, plus collaboration with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial protocols. Field support during FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site execution is included.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA systems for industrial automation projects.
• Design and configure SCADA screens, tags, alarms, trends, reports, and communication.
• Work with PLCs, HMI, VFDs, and industrial communication protocols.
• Integrate SCADA with PLC/RTU systems and establish reliable communication.
• Troubleshoot communication and programming-related issues at site.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, testing, and site execution activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, I/O lists, tag databases, and system backups.
• Coordinate with project, electrical, automation, and customer teams.
• Provide post-commissioning support and resolve site-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA systems for industrial automation projects.
• Design and configure SCADA screens, tags, alarms, trends, reports, and communication.
• Work with PLCs, HMI, VFDs, and industrial communication protocols.
• Integrate SCADA with PLC/RTU systems and establish reliable communication.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SCADA software such as WinCC, AVEVA/Wonderware, iFIX, Ignition, etc.
• PLC knowledge Mitsubishi / Siemens / Allen-Bradley or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC, TCP/IP and other industrial protocols.
• Basic understanding of control panels, electrical drawings, and industrial automation.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer/project sites.
