Responsibilities
Perform SCADA system installations, testing, and commissioning for electrical utility and industrial projects.
Configure SCADA platforms (e.g., GE iFix, Wonderware, Ignition, Siemens, ABB) and integrate field devices such as RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, IEDs, and protection relays.
perform site inspections, equipment verification, and point-to-point testing.
Develop and review SCADA system design documents, data maps, and interface specifications.
Troubleshoot SCADA communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850, etc.) and resolve connectivity or performance issues.
Support SCADA system upgrades, maintenance, and cybersecurity requirements.
Provide site training and technical support to end-users and stakeholders.
Maintain thorough and accurate project documentation and testing records.
Coordinate with engineering staff and stakeholders to ensure SCADA systems meet operational, safety, and quality requirements.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of experience working with SCADA systems, RTUs, PLCs, and communication protocols.
Strong knowledge of SCADA platforms, industrial communication protocols, and electrical protection and control.
Hands-on experience with SCADA commissioning, configuration, and site testing.
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and best practices for SCADA and ICS environments.
