Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering degree program.
• Rising senior with three years of coursework completed.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, C++, Python, MATLAB.
• Completed coursework in Digital Logic Circuits, Embedded Systems, Real-Time Embedded Systems, Linear Systems and DSP.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Willing to travel to NYC for field work during the summer.

Aufgaben

• Support the design and development of SCADA and industrial automation systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Assist with preparation of control system architecture diagrams, instrumentation layouts, control panel drawings, and communication network drawings.
• Support PLC and HMI configuration, testing, and documentation activities.
• Assist engineers with development of control narratives, I/O lists, sequence-of-operation documents, and functional specifications.
• Participate in reviews of electrical and controls designs to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Perform engineering calculations, data analysis, and field data verification as needed.
• Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
• Assist with troubleshooting control systems and communication networks under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Contribute to project documentation, technical reports, and design deliverables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers.
