Job summary

Leidos is seeking multiple SCA-R Validators to assess programs’ security posture and prepare reports and recommendations for improvement. Positions are on-site at Alexandria, VA, Fort Meade, MD, or Chambersburg, PA, with up to 50% travel and per diem while on travel.

Responsibilities include using government tools, conducting RMF-based assessments, validation of STIGs/SRGs, reports, and liaising with ISSMs/PMOs. A DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in IT/security.
• Eight years of cybersecurity or network security experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• Certification in IAM II / IAT II or equivalent.
• Experience in Certification and Accreditation/A&A processes.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST SP 800-37/53, CNSSI 1253.

Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity assessments and risk analyses across RMF steps.
• Verify authorization boundaries and categorize systems (FIPS 199).
• Lead assessment visits, briefings, and reporting.
• Coordinate with ISSMs/PMOs and track system changes.
• Maintain government databases and cybersecurity tools.
