Job summary

Leidos is seeking multiple SCA-R Validators to assess programs’ security posture and develop reports and recommendations for improvement. Positions are primarily on-site at Alexandria, VA, Fort Meade, MD, or Chambersburg, PA, with travel up to 50% and per diem while traveling.

Responsibilities include using government tools, coordinating with ISSMs/PMOs, and conducting RMF-based assessments across systems. Requires DoD Top Secret clearance, IAM II/IAT II, and deep experience with STIGs, SRGs,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
8+ years of cybersecurity or network security experience preferred.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
IAM II or IAT II certification per DoD 8570.
Experience with STIGs/SRGs, POA&Ms, and RMF processes.

Responsibilities

Perform weekly updates, maintain records, and complete tasks using government tools.
Coordinate with ISSMs and PMOs to understand mission, security architecture, and changes to systems.
Conduct cybersecurity assessments, risk analyses, and authorization tasks across RMF steps.
Verify boundaries, categorize systems, and assess data classifications and system risks.
Prepare findings and authorization packages with recommended countermeasures and residual risk.
