Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Warner Robins, GA is seeking an SCA Electronics Maintenance Tech 1 to repair and maintain a variety of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems used on mission-critical platforms. You will work on complex systems with a Strong emphasis on fault isolation and repair.

The role requires an Associates degree or MOS in electronics, with 3+ years experience (5+ years with HS diploma).

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electronics-related field or MOS in Electronics with 3+ years of experience.
• Five+ years experience accepted with High School Diploma/GED.
• Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, GA.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, DMM or similar test equipment.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret US Government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates, assembles and disassembles electronic subassemblies.
• Wires circuits, replaces components and repairs electronics.
• Performs routine electronic preventive maintenance on STE and test stations.
• Performs tests with instruments like oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and multimeters.
• Troubleshoots to component level and conducts engineering tests.
• Performs calibration checks on electronic instruments.

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an SCA Electronic Maintenance Tech 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Warner Robins, GA. SCA Electronics Maintenance Tech 1 is responsible for the repair, modification, and maintenance of a variety of electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems. You will be working on highly complex systems and equipment that are mission critical for the platforms that they operate on.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Fabricates, assembles, and disassembles electronic subassemblies.
• Wiring circuits, replacing components, and repairing electronic assemblies
• Performs routine electronic preventative maintenance on special test equipment (STE) and test stations.
• Performs test readings using several different instruments, including Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Curve Tracers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators and Digital Multimeters.
• Troubleshoot to component level to determine cause and remedy for malfunction.
• Conducts routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing.
• Performs calibration checks on electronic instruments.
• Using practical electronic theory and basic tools

Basic Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 3+ years of relevant electronics experience
• * Will consider 5+ years of relevant electronics experience with High School Diploma/GED
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be able to work second shift.
• Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
• Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter (DMM) or similar test equipment
• Self–starter with ability to work with little to no supervision.
• *Ability to recognize basic electronic components and work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches, and verbal instructions.
• *Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions and other process documents.
• *Work well in a team environment.
• *Able to obtain/maintain a Secret US Government clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• * Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a lab environment
• * Experience testing and troubleshooting RF assemblies and sub-assemblies
• * Testing and tuning microwave assemblies.
• * Experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare systems
• * Soldering experience or familiarization
• * Have a current Secret US Government clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $29.37 - $29.37

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date. However, this timeline may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
