Job summary

Tropicana Brands Group in Chicago is seeking a Supply Chain Planner focused on demand planning. You will own the total forecast for assigned customer teams, deliver near- and long-term projections, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve forecast accuracy.

The role requires 2+ years in sales/ops, strong analytical and communication skills, and ERP planning experience in a CPG setting. Bachelor's degree required; relocation to Chicago area considered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Sales/Operations including Demand or Supply Planning.
• Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Supply Chain or Statistics preferred.
• Experience with ERP planning tools for a CPG company is a plus.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute demand forecasting in IBP for UPCs at assigned Customer Teams.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, with relevant reporting.
• Collaborate with Commercial to gather intelligence on Sales activities.
• Coordinate forecasts for new and discontinued products affecting teams.
• Prepare for Customer connects and Revenue Reviews with teams.
• Support continuous process improvements in planning processes.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

We are looking to add a Supply Chain Planner to our Demand Planning team. This role will be responsible for owning the total forecast for assigned Customer Teams, delivering accurate near- and long-term projections measured by forecast accuracy and bias. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather intelligence, improve UPC-level forecast precision, provide stakeholders with explanatory and predictive insights, and support broader Demand Planning team initiatives. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include:

• Own and execute demand forecasting in IBP for UPCs at assigned Customer Team(s)


• Own & monitor Demand Planning forecast accuracy and bias measures (individual targets) for UPCs at assigned Customer teams, including relevant reporting


• Assist Demand Planning leadership in meeting the demand forecasting and demand reporting needs of the overall business and associated supply chain


• Collaborate and maintain close relationships day to day with key contacts in Commercial to gather intelligence relative to Sales activities for UPCs at assigned Customer Teams (Promotions, Calendar Events)


• Coordinate with Demand Planning leadership to manage forecasts for new and discontinued products impacting assigned Customer Teams


• Own preparations, facilitate, and follow ups for Customer connects and Revenue Reviews with Customer Teams


• Use experience, analysis, reports and gathered intelligence to review history, evaluate the impact of future business and sales activities on demand and take appropriate actions to adjust forecasts (baseline, lift)


• Support continuous process improvements

The Perfect Blend: Experience

• 2+ years previous experience desired: Sales and/or Operations experience, including Demand, Supply Planning and/or Capacity planning


• Strong analytical skills


• Experience with planning in an ERP tool for a CPG company a plus


• SAP and PowerBI experience a plus


• Relationship building qualities in cross-functional setting


• High proficiency with MS Office products; particularly Excel and Outlook


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt style to needs of audience


• Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Supply Chain or Statistics preferred


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future


• Must be located in Chicago, IL or Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.


• Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations
