From reimagining orange juice to creating functional smoothies and driving afternoon refreshments, we are striving to become the undisputed global leader in fresh and chilled beverages. The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

Serve as the senior supply chain partner for retail customers, owning the end-to-end CPFR agenda to improve forecast accuracy, drive in-stock performance, and optimise inventory and replenishment. This role translates POS and customer inventory signals, promotional/innovation plans, and supply constraints into an aligned demand/replenishment plan, leads joint issue resolution with the customer, and provides clear decision-ready recommendations to Sales and Supply Chain leadership. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Own the customer forecast (baseline + promotional): Lead customer/SKU/location forecasting using POS, shipments, inventory, and event plans; validate key assumptions (distribution, pricing, seasonality, elasticity), and align the internal demand signal to the customer’s latest view with clear documentation of deltas and drivers.
  • Replenishment & inventory strategy: Translate demand into replenishment/order signals; monitor DC/store/e-commerce inventory and pipeline; recommend and govern replenishment parameter changes (e.g., order points, safety stock, presentation stock) to deliver agreed in-stock and inventory productivity targets.
  • Advanced exception management & escalation: Proactively identify high-risk exceptions (demand spikes, late/short supply, item setup issues, discontinued items, pack/ship changes) and lead cross-functional mitigation plans; escalated trade-offs and decisions with quantified customer/service impact.
  • Scenario planning & S&OP/IBP inputs: Build scenarios for constraints, promotions, new distribution, and innovation; provide inputs to S&OP/IBP for the customer and ensure supply plans reflect the latest customer priorities and commitments.
  • Performance management: Own customer-facing service and replenishment KPIs (e.g., in-stock/OSA, OTIF, fill rate, forecast accuracy, DOS/DOH, order quality/compliance); perform root-cause analysis, identify systemic issues, and drive corrective action plans with owners and due dates.
  • Promotion, innovation, and lifecycle leadership: Lead planning for launches, discontinuations, modular transitions/resets, and promotional execution—ensuring readiness (setup, supply coverage, pack/ship requirements) and post-event learnings that improve future plans, including coordination of Amazon/eCommerce special packs (e.g., variety packs, multipacks, display-ready/ship-in-own-container) with alignment to customer requirements and fulfillment constraints.
  • Customer governance & routines: Lead recurring customer CPFR/replenishment routines, create a forward-looking action log, and deliver concise readouts that drive decisions; represent Supply Chain in customer meetings as needed.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Act as the supply chain point-of-contact for the customer team; align Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Transportation, and Finance to a single set of assumptions, priorities, and execution plans.
  • Continuous improvement & capability building: Improve CPFR processes, reporting, and data quality; standardize playbooks for recurring issues; coach/mentor junior planners on analytical methods and customer routines.
The Perfect Blend: Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, customer replenishment, supply planning, customer supply chain, or retail collaboration within CPG and/or retail.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of CPFR practices (joint planning, forecast alignment, replenishment execution, exception management) and the ability to lead customer routines.
  • Strong analytical capability: able to blend POS, shipments, inventory, and forecast data; quantify drivers; and make clear, prioritized recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and planning/reporting tools; comfort working across ERP/APS and customer/vendor portals; ability to improve reporting and data quality.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills; able to lead cross-functional problem solving and drive decisions under ambiguity.
  • Experience supporting large omni-channel retailers and familiarity with retailer data, replenishment tools, and scorecards.
  • Track record improving in-stock/OSA, OTIF/fill rate, and inventory productivity through parameter governance, exception playbooks, and cross-functional action plans.
  • Experience leading item lifecycle management (new item setup, discontinuations), modular transitions/resets, and promotional execution planning.
  • Experience with Amazon and eCommerce planning, including special pack setup/execution (variety packs, multipacks, eCommerce-only configurations), understanding of eCommerce fulfillment requirements, and familiarity with customer portals (e.g., Amazon Vendor Central/Seller Central or similar).
  • Exposure to S&OP / IBP, including translating customer signals into supply and financial plans and communicating risks/opportunities to leadership.
Foundational Ingredients: Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Chicago, IL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations.
