Tropicana Brands Group is seeking a Packaging Off Shift Supervisor to lead front-line teams in our Diversified department in Bradenton. The role focuses on optimizing production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping operations while ensuring strict inventory controls and cost discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-line teams and shift activities to optimize production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping.
• Ensure compliance with financial and inventory controls and accurate records.
• Drive site AOP-driven improvements, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and development plans for staff.
• Develop talent using leadership models and performance management processes.
• Maintain regular presence on the plant floor and monitor key metrics (OEE, yield, quality).
• Travel up to 5% and onsite daily presence in Bradenton.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

We are looking to add a Packaging Off Shift Supervisor for our Diversified department team. This role will be responsible for managing all activities associated with front-line teams to positively impact the overall department/area. The Supervisor will lead a team of hourly front-line associates, and possibly salaried associates. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include:

• Optimize operational efficiencies to support the facility’s production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping operations.
• Ensure Tropicana Brands Group financial and accounting control procedures are followed to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Identify and coordinate operations improvements necessary to deliver the site annual operating plan (AOP). Ensure cost performance gaps are identified, action plans are developed, and resources are properly allocated.
• Build capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel.
• Manage the performance of direct reports through performance reviews, frequent discussions, coaching, and career development action plans.
• Build and develop talent by effectively leveraging Tropicana Brands Group Career Growth and Leadership Models and the Performance Management Process: objective setting, performance and development (PDR), CDAP, people planning, 360 feedback, and competency review.
• This role requires regular presence on the plant floor.
• Directly oversee operational measures including but not limited to efficiency, yield loss, product quality, inventory accuracy, transactional accuracy.

The Perfect Blend: Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in food/beverage.
• Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
• Directly oversee operational measures including CIL/CL compliance, minor stop loss, OEE/TE/RE improvement plans, SRC/RCA/BDA completion.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar fields.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• This role will require off-shift and weekend work.
• Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana office, warehouse, or manufacturing plant in Bradenton.
• Travel up to 5%.
