Job summary

Beebe Healthcare is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect and prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing at our facility in Delaware. You will review physician orders, verify patient information, and obtain accurate demographics while representing the lab professionally to patients and families.

Responsibilities include performing venipuncture across all ages, preparing specimens for testing, and performing EKGs and pre-surgical collections as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, hospital staff and the public.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Willingness to increase knowledge of lab/hospital functions.
• Demonstrates creativity and initiative in problem solving.

• Phlebotomy certification required.
