Job summary

Mainline LLC is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee all aspects of OSP construction in the South Carolina market. You will plan, coordinate, and execute projects with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery, while leading field supervisors and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in aerial/underground telecom construction and at least 3 years in supervision. This role requires travel, overtime, and a commitment to the company culture and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in aerial/underground telecom construction.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with fiber optic testing equipment and procedures.
• Familiar with OSP construction standards, codes, and safety practices.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willing to travel frequently and work overtime, including nights/weekends.
• Local to the market you are applying for.

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned OSP projects, clients, partners, and field staff per SPEQ metrics.
• Maintain project data through company software and processes.
• Gather project data: production schedules, logs, redlines, as-builts, and deliverables.
• Follow billing process for project Revenue and COGS.
• Maintain project GP and financials.
• Ensure clear communication with customers, subcontractors, and management.
• Recruit and oversee contractors and staff; evaluate performance.
• Ensure safety evaluations and meetings occur.
• Handle customer escalations and documentation.
• Proactively report project progress to Senior Management.
