Job summary

Federal Signal Corporation in Downers Grove, IL seeks an experienced senior executive to lead the development of the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan for the company’s SBUs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or related field required.
• MBA preferred; direct experience in large-scale manufacturing may substitute MBA.
• 12–15+ years in Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Operations or Finance; 10+ years in manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of full P&L General Management for >$400M in sales.
• Experience managing dealer/distribution networks and multi-level customer relationships.
• Lean enterprise experience is a plus.
• Proven capability to lead multiple P&Ls and communicate with executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan development and execution.
• Oversee SBUs, product roadmaps, and market analysis to drive profitability and growth.
• Direct dealer network development and senior-level relationships with ESG dealers.
• Ensure compliance and drive continuous quality and process improvements across business units.
• Support Mergers and Acquisitions efforts and post-acquisition integration.
• Act as goodwill ambassador to corporate and local management teams.
