Job summary

Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. in Farmington Hills, Michigan, seeks a SBM Administrator / Project Coordinator to support the North American OEM business unit by administering and maintaining the SBM system, onboarding users, basic training, troubleshooting, data corrections, and workflow support.

This role develops custom notifications, reports, and dashboards and partners with internal and external teams for effective system performance.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting workflow-based systems and system administration preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent required.
• Strong customer support capabilities and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Modify and maintain the SBM admin system for cross-functional teams.
• Manage SBM change requests through internal ticket tracking.
• Define new system requirements and coordinate updates with SMEs.
• Support new users with system access and onboarding.
• Maintain SBM documentation and training materials.
• Own SBM front-end design and usability.
• Coordinate user testing with SBM developer for production readiness.
• Lead troubleshooting and escalate to OpenText when needed.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements for SBM.
• Serve as liaison between SEWS and SBM provider OpenText.
