An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated SBIRT provider to enhance the identification and treatment of adults at risk for substance misuse. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Nursing or other related health field.
EXPERIENCE:
1. One (1) year experience in Human Services field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Licensed in West Virginia as an LCSW or LPC.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience in a Behavioral Health or Substance Abuse environment.

1. Participate in the SBIRT training, technical assistance, and on-going consultation program.
2. Recruit participants for SBIRT screenings
3. Provide an evaluation component for the grant to interview program participants and administer the SBIRT at baseline and coordinate a follow-up interview 6 months later for positive SBIRT screen.
4. Work in close partnership with the primary care clinical teams to provide full SBIRT screening as well as other screens, diagnosis and assessment, and treatment or referral patients with behavioral health problems.
5. May conduct brief interventions or refer to internal behavioral health department or community treatment centers.
6. Conduct patient screening using standardized tools.
7. Document all aspects of the screening, diagnosis and treatment or referral in the HER.
8. Participate in professional activities such as: continuing education activities, clinical conferences, meeting with representatives of community groups.
9. Respond to crises, assess need, formulate disposition, and implement appropriate care.
10. Ensure patient respect and confidentiality at all times.
