Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services seeks a Project Director for the SBIRT program in Hainesport, NJ. The role leads start-up, daily operations, staffing, partnerships, and fiscal oversight to deliver SBIRT services across applicable settings.

The position oversees screening, brief intervention, referral to treatment, and warm handoffs, integrates with outpatient care, and ensures compliance with SAMHSA requirements while guiding quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field is required.
• Current independent New Jersey clinical behavioral health license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or other qualifying license) is required.
• Minimum three years of progressively responsible leadership experience directing behavioral health and/or substance use disorder programs serving children, adolescents, young adults, and adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for Legacy Treatment Services' SBIRT project, directing start-up and daily operations.
• Staffing, partnership coordination, fiscal and grant oversight, workforce development, quality improvement, and achievement of deliverables.
• Oversee screening for substance use from age 12, Brief Intervention, Brief Treatment, referral to treatment, warm handoffs, and follow-up.
• Monitor implementation fidelity, Quality Improvement Plan, and SAMHSA reporting; lead improvement actions when needed.
• Supervise project personnel and coordinate clinical supervision in line with licensure and credentialing.
