Job summary

Arizona Western College seeks a Small Business Development Center Lead Advisor to work with manufacturers and startups in the MBAA program. The grant-funded role helps entrepreneurs identify growth opportunities, develop practical plans, and connect with SBA resources.

Requirements include SBA SBDC certification or equivalent, 5+ years in small business advising, and strong financial analysis and business planning skills. Salary is $75,000 annually; exempt, grant-funded through Aug 2027.

Qualifications

• Financial analysis and business planning expertise.
• Knowledge of SBA lending programs.
• SBA SBDC certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SBA SBDC-advised counseling to MBAA Track 2/3 participants.
• Coordinate capital access referrals to SBA, USDA and private lenders.
• Support strategic planning initiatives and other duties as assigned.
• Serve as a SBDC-certified advisor or equivalent.
