Jobtailor is seeking a detail-oriented post-close loan review specialist in Arizona to ensure SBA and business loan packages meet all regulatory and investor standards. You will gather documents, audit file accuracy, and coordinate with lenders, counsel, and staff to resolve inquiries.

The role emphasizes meticulous review of closing documents, adherence to SOPs, and mastery of our documentation/audit systems to maintain quality control and timely post-close actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Thorough knowledge of loan processing documents, SBA requirements, and closing docs.
• Ability to identify and escalate complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Critical thinking for loan documentation construction and post-close review.
• Familiarity with the bank's documentation/audit software and processes.
• Strong knowledge of closing policies, funding policies, and SBA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the review and audit of SBA and business banking loan packages post-closing for compliance with policies and investor standards.
• Communicate with internal staff, customers, lenders, SBA partners, counsel, and other stakeholders to resolve inquiries and obtain necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, SBA SOPs, regulatory and investor requirements, and QC standards.
• Review files for completeness, accuracy, and SBA eligibility and closing requirements.
• Identify documentation deficiencies or compliance gaps and escalate or resolve.
