Job summary

Hëda is seeking a Special Assets & Portfolio Supervisor in Irving, TX to lead and optimize the resolution of SBA 7(a) loans from workout to liquidation.

The role requires 5-7+ years in SBA loan servicing and distressed asset resolution, with deep regulatory knowledge and strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. You will drive strategy, manage a team, and ensure compliance across the lifecycle of distressed assets.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years SBA 7(a) loan servicing, liquidation, and distressed asset resolution.
• Deep knowledge of SBA SOP 50 57 Servicing and Liquidation and related regulations.
• Experience in SBLC environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation capabilities with exec leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Special Asset Officers and Portfolio Officers.
• Develop and implement proactive workout and recovery action plans.
• Evaluate collateral positions and structure workout solutions.
• Negotiate payment plans, forbearance, and workout terms with borrowers/guarantors.
• Direct litigation activities including bankruptcy, foreclosures, and recoveries.
• Ensure SBA SOP compliance and monitor liquidation lifecycle and extensions.
• Maintain relationships with SBA NGPC and coordinate with outside counsel.
