Job summary

The Huntington National Bank is seeking a Credit Solutions Advisor to support SBA 504 opportunities through product-fit guidance, eligibility checks, and coordinated processing with Relationship Managers, SBA Product Specialists, Credit, Underwriting, and CDC partners. The role remains neutral on final financing choices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years in lending, credit analysis, underwriting support, or loan operations.
• Working knowledge of SBA 504 and SBA 7(a) program structures.
• Experience supporting process improvement and cross‑functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Product‑Fit Review and Referral Triage: assess opportunities for SBA 504 applicability and route to the right team.
• Market Enablement and Training: educate on referral triggers, eligibility, and workflows; maintain reference materials.
• Process Coordination and Quality Review: ensure proper reviews, handoffs, and documentation at each stage.
• Credit and Transaction Support: assist with organizing information for early credit/eligibility review and coordinate with Credit/Underwriting.
• CDC and Internal Partner Coordination: work with CDCs and internal teams to resolve issues and improve delivery.
• Reporting and Governance: keep records and support governance reviews and action follow-ups.
