Our Holden, LA lumber mill is seeking a Sawmill Production Superintendent to lead production teams with safety and quality in mind. This role requires shift coverage across a 24/7 operation, including weekends/holidays, and involves working with leadership to meet safety, quality, and production goals.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, an annual merit increase program, and a target bonus of 10% of base pay, along with a 401(k) plan with company match and paid vacation/holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of lumber manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proven ability to raise performance through coaching and continuous improvement.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Track record of success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead a team to achieve breakthrough results.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and after-hours when needed.

• Own or contribute to mill functions such as safety, environmental, LEAN initiatives.
• Participate in incident investigations and follow-up activities.
• Lead the team and uphold site policies fairly.
