Job summary

PotlatchDeltic is seeking a Utility - Machine Operator at the Gwinn Lumber Mill. Responsibilities include operating sawmill and planer equipment, performing operator PMs, and maintaining a clean mill area. Shifts rotate every two weeks between days (7am-5:30pm) and nights (6:30pm-5am) with a $1.50 shift differential for evening hours.

The position pays $22.59 per hour with full-time benefits and overtime opportunities as scheduled by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in hot, dusty, or confined environments.
• Willing to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate sawmill and planer equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
• Clean up machinery and surrounding areas around the mill.
• Carry out duties as assigned by supervisor.
