Georgia-Pacific is hiring Relief Equipment Operators at our lumber mill in Gurdon, Arkansas. This production role involves operating machinery such as edgers, trimmers, and related equipment to process logs into lumber. A strong safety commitment is essential. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and prioritize safety with lumber processing experience, this could be your role!

Pay rate: $23.00/hour plus a $1.50/hour night shift differential. Must be available for day or night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to meet standards and targets
  • Follow safety and environmental policies

  • Work in hot, humid, cold, and noisy environments

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months experience operating log processing equipment

Preferred

  • At least 1 year experience
  • Knowledge of lumber dimensions
