Job summary

Northwest Hardwoods, Inc. seeks a hands-on Clean-Up Technician to help keep our yard, sawmill, and operations clean, safe, and productive. You will work with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime and support the production process.

Responsibilities include exterior maintenance, waste disposal, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, outside role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Endure prolonged physical activity for 8+ hour shifts.
• Familiarity with standard yard tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, rake, and clear lumber yard driveways and walkways.
• Collect and dispose of wood scraps, sawdust, metal banding, and debris.
• Empty yard trash and transport waste to dumpsters or recycling areas.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance such as snow/ice removal.
• Assist with re-stacking, bundling, and organizing lumber as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of trucks and equipment; power wash as required.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and report hazards to the facilities manager.
• Collaborate with warehouse and maintenance teams for a clean, safe workplace.
