48forty Solutions, LLC is hiring a Saw Shop Operator in Indianapolis, IN to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood for pallets. The role supports the pallet manufacturing process and offers two shifts: 1st shift 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 2nd shift 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Starting pay is $17.00–$17.50 per hour, with benefits including time off, 401(k), and comprehensive insurance for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing preferred.
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
