Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Phoenix, AZ to set up builders and operate power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallets. The position is on-site, 1st shift, Monday–Friday 5:00am–2:00pm, at 425 S 67th Ave.

Pay is $20.00 per hour with competitive benefits including holiday pay, daily pay, medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k). You must have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to lift 50 lbs, and be prepared for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift pallets up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous lumber/warehouse/construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
