Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, plus 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend basic work instructions and communications.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and directions.
• Basic understanding of technical language tools and specifications.
• Blueprint Reading and basic Shop Math knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Receive job assignment and brief the previous operator before shift start.
• Set up CNC manual and automatic cut-off saws as required.
• Maintain Saw Room equipment, including filter changes.
• Verify paperwork and check dimensions against print on first parts.
• Run parts efficiently while following work instructions and print/work order sequences.
• Clock in/out per work order sequence.
• Perform quality audits and adjust as needed with proper authorization.
• Replace dull or broken saw blades using proper procedures.
