Job summary

Priority StaffCorp is hiring a Saw Operator for a local distributor serving the oil & gas industry. The role focuses on operating HEM and band saws to cut pipe per customer specifications, with duties including loading and unloading materials and supporting general warehouse tasks.

You should be dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn other areas of the operation. Previous saw or warehouse experience is preferred, along with basic tape measure reading and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or saw operation preferred.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.
• Comfortable with pipe and industrial materials.

• Operate HEM saws and band saws to cut pipe to specified lengths.

• Assist with handling moving and organizing pipe, valves and fittings.
• Read tape measures, work orders and basic specifications.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures.

We are hiring a Saw Operator for a local distributor specializing in pipe valves and fittings for the oil & gas industry This position will primarily involve operating saws to cut pipe to customer specifications along with assisting with loadingunloading materials and other general warehouse and shop duties We are looking for someone who is dependable mechanically inclined and willing to learn different areas of the operation

Responsibilities

• Operate HEM saws and band saws to cut pipe to specified lengths
• Measure pipe and materials to ensure accurate cuts
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing pipe shipments
• Assist with handling moving and organizing pipe valves and fittings

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse manufacturing or saw operation experience preferred
• Experience operating HEM saws band saws or similar equipment is a plus
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand throughout the shift
• Comfortable working with pipe and other industrial materials
• Dependable hardworking and able to work overtime when needed
