Job summary

Priority StaffCorp is seeking a dependable Pipe Cutting & Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing shop. This role prepares and cuts pipe to production specifications while assisting with material handling and other shop operations.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You will operate band saws and cutting equipment, measure and cut pipe, inspect materials, load/unload pipe, and support assembly and other production tasks while following

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Able to use a tape measure and follow detailed specifications.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to learn new machinery and work in different shop areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate band saws, hem saws and related cutting equipment according to work orders.
• Accurately measure and cut pipe to production specifications.
• Inspect materials and verify measurements before cutting.
• Load, unload and move pipe and other materials throughout the shop.
• Assist with receiving materials from delivery trucks and support assembly as needed.
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures.

Shift MondayFriday 800 AM430 PM Overtime Required as directed We are looking for a dependable Pipe Cutting & Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing shop This position is responsible for preparing and cutting pipe to production specifications while assisting with material handling and other shop operations This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined pays attention to detail and is willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities

Job Duties

• Operate band saws hem saws and related cutting equipment
• Accurately measure and cut pipe according to work orders and specifications
• Inspect materials and verify measurements before cutting
• Load unload and move pipe and other materials throughout the shop
• Assist with receiving materials from delivery trucks
• Support assembly and other production activities as needed
• Learn to operate additional equipment as training is provided
• Follow production schedules work instructions and safety procedures
• Maintain an organized and hazard free work area
• Assist with general shop duties and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing production or machine operation experience preferred
• Experience with saws or industrial cutting equipment is a plus
• Forklift experience preferred but not required
• Comfortable using a tape measure and following detailed specifications
• Strong attention to accuracy and quality
• Able to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing and working on your feet for extended periods
• Willing to learn new machinery and work in different areas of the shop
• Reliable safety minded and dependable
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
