Job summary

CMI Group in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Saw Operator / Material Flow Coordinator (Waterspider) to support aerospace manufacturing by preparing raw material and maintaining continuous material flow for production. You will ensure production teams have the resources needed to meet commitments.

This role combines automated saw operation with Lean Manufacturing Water Spider duties. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Experience operating automated or semi-automated industrial equipment.
• Experience using measuring equipment including tape measures, calipers, and other inspection tools.
• Ability to lift materials and operate forklifts or obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Material Preparation (Saw Operation) - set up and operate automated saw equipment per drawings and schedules.
• Verify material type, dimensions, heat lot information, and quality prior to cutting.
• Maintain continuous material flow and supply tooling, documents, and resources to production cells.
• Coordinate with Production Control and Operations to support changing priorities and ensure traceability.
