Job summary

UFP Packaging, LLC is seeking a Saw Operator I to join our manufacturing team in Blanchester, Ohio. You will be responsible for the setup and operation of a single-blade saw, reading production scheduling sheets and identifying required material for the operation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ months of experience using saws or similar equipment, familiarity with basic math, and is willing to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ months experience using saws or similar equipment.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate a single-blade saw according to specs.
• Read production scheduling sheets to identify material.
• Feed material as per specifications and maintain safety.
• Check equipment periodically to ensure specs are met.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Maintain production records as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance as specified.
• Participate in safety and other programs and meetings.
