Job Summary

Cutting inventory through the use of saw machine as specified according to work orders and by directive of supervisor.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate a saw machine to cut steel material accurately.
• Use basic measuring devices, including tape measure and micrometers.
• Use manual hand tools, including wrenches and clamps.
• Log and tag inventory received according to procedures.
• Assemble customer orders according to work orders.
• Record pertinent material information on work orders and forms as specified by management.
• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
• Coordinate with warehouse areas and coworkers to complete tasks.
• Maintain compliance with safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Prioritize safety for oneself and others.
• Proactively seek out work and complete tasks with initiative.
• Be an enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.
• Uphold a workplace culture of respect.
• Maintain dependable and punctual attendance.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed based on business requirements.
