Job Title: Saw Operator – 1st Shift
Pay: $18.00/hour (Depending on Experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Saw Operator to join our team on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial saws to cut raw materials to size according to production specifications. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate various types of saws (e.g., band saw, cold saw, chop saw) to cut metal or other materials

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements to determine cutting requirements

• Measure, mark, and inspect raw material to ensure accurate cuts and minimal waste

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report issues promptly

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Assist with material handling, staging, and general shop support as needed

Requirements:

• Previous saw operating or metal cutting experience preferred

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret basic technical drawings

• Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
