Wieland North America, Inc. in Texas City, TX is hiring a 1st Shift Saw Operator to run saw equipment and support warehouse operations on-site. The role starts at $20.00 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule (1st shift, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm) and weekly pay.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer 1–2 years of manufacturing experience. English proficiency required. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe work environment, inspecting products, loading/unloading,

Wieland is hiring a 1st Shift Saw Operator. The Saw Operator will be responsible for machine operation and product quality while also assisting with overall warehouse operations as needed. This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday- Friday 1st shift (6:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Pay: Weekly

Responsibilities

Saw Operator Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a safe organized working environment
• Operate machinery in a safe manner to ensure quality product
• Inspect material before and after operation for imperfections
• Load and unload product from the machinery for processing
• Inspect inventory and product orders for accuracy
• Report product discrepancies to management
• Actively communicate with teammates
• Operate forklifts to relocate material
• Other Operations tasks as assigned

Saw Operator Qualifications:

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail (critical skill).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to communicate professionally with all departments, coworkers and management.
• Ability to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessary.
• Ability to work occasional Saturday hours as required by the position.
• Ability to work in warehouse environment with varying temperatures.Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings.
• Ability to read a tape measure and calipers.
• Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
• Standing, walking up to 10 hours
• Twisting, bending up to 10 hours
• Perform duties under pressure of deadlines
• Must be able to wear task-appropriate PPE
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments

Saw Operator Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
