Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Riverside, CA to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood for pallets. You will contribute to the pallet manufacturing process and work Monday through Friday with hourly pay.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, and a willingness to comply with safety rules. Prior lumber/warehouse or carpentry experience is preferred. Overtime may be required.

Job description

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to set up our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay

$19.00/hr.

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
