48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Boise, ID to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood pallets. You’ll be essential to the pallet manufacturing process with a focus on safety and quality.

This hourly role includes standard daytime shifts and potential overtime depending on production needs. Responsibilities include operating saws, maintaining safety compliance, and clear communication with plant management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in pallet work.
• Good communication with plant management and team members.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Job description

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay

$20.00/hr.

Shift(s)

Monday – Friday 5:00am - 2:30pm

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
