Job description

Responsibilities include:

1. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including Health, Safety, and Quality Assurance policies.
2. Report injuries, accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions immediately to a Supervisor or Manager.
3. Set up and operate power saws (wet, band, or circular) to cut materials to specified lengths or contours according to specifications.
4. Install saw blades suitable for the material type, set stop gauges, saw speeds, and indexing mechanisms for automatic positioning of materials.
5. Review Work Orders, Drawings, and ITP specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
6. Verify that finished parts meet specifications.
7. Monitor products for defects and report issues to supervisor and QC.
8. Perform basic preventive maintenance as required.
9. Maintain equipment and ensure the work area is clean and safe at all times.
10. Read and follow work orders and use required measuring instruments proficiently.
